Steven Cahillane
CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD & CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Steven Cahillane joined Kellogg Company in October 2017 as Chief Executive Officer. He became Chairman of the Board in March 2018.

Prior to Kellogg, in 2014, Mr. Cahillane assumed the role of President and Chief Executive Officer at The Nature’s Bounty Co., the largest global pure-play manufacturer, marketer and specialty retailer of health and wellness products. In this role, he successfully aligned the company with key health and wellness trends, established a thriving eCommerce division and created significant shareholder value.

Prior to Nature’s Bounty, Mr. Cahillane spent seven years with The Coca-Cola Company, most recently as President of Coca-Cola Americas, the global beverage maker’s largest business with $25 billion in sales. Prior to Coca-Cola, Mr. Cahillane spent eight years with AB lnBev, the world’s largest brewing company, in various senior leadership roles including Chief Commercial Officer, in which he led commercial strategy, global marketing, sponsorships, innovation and research following the 2004 merger of lnterbrew and AmBev.

Mr. Cahillane sits on the boards of Northwestern University, Purpose Built Communities, The Consumer Goods Forum and Business Leaders for Michigan.

Mr. Cahillane holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Northwestern University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Harvard University.

Kris Charles Bahner
Senior Vice President, Global Corporate Affairs, Kellogg Company

Kris Bahner leads the global Corporate Affairs function – including Communications, Philanthropy, Sustainability and Government Relations – for Kellogg Company, the world's leading cereal company; world’s second largest producer of cookies, crackers and savory snacks; and a leading North American frozen foods company. Kellogg is a company with a heart and soul, committed to creating three billion Better Days by the end of 2025 through its Breakfasts for Better Days global purpose platform addressing food security.

She is a member of Kellogg Company’s executive committee. She serves as the company’s lead corporate spokesperson and oversees the company’s annual global Corporate Responsibility report.

Kris has more than 25 years of Corporate Affairs experience within the food industry. She began her Kellogg career in 2006. Prior to joining Kellogg, Kris held a variety of communications roles with Kraft Foods. Previously, she led public relations programs for food industry clients at both Edelman Public Relations Worldwide and Powers & Associates Advertising and Public Relations.

Kris is also the global Executive Sponsor of the company’s Women of Kellogg employee resource group and serves as the President of the Board of Trustees for the Kellogg Company Fund and President of the Kellogg Company 25-Year Employees’ Fund, Inc.

Kris serves on the Board for Family & Children Services, Battle Creek Unlimited, Business Leaders for Michigan and on the Miami University College of Arts and Science Alumni Advisory Board.

She graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications and public relations from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.

Amit Banati
PRESIDENT, ASIA PACIFIC, KELLOGG COMPANY

Amit Banati has been President, Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa, Kellogg Company, since July 2018. Prior to that he was President, Asia Pacific, Kellogg Company, since March 2012. He is a member of Kellogg Company’s executive committee.

Before joining Kellogg Company, Mr. Banati served in a variety of board and leadership roles at Kraft Foods, Cadbury Schweppes and Procter & Gamble. He has worked extensively across the Asia Pacific and Africa regions, particularly in Singapore, Australia, India, China, Japan, Korea, Southeast Asia, South Africa and Nigeria.

At Kraft Foods, he was President, North Asia and Asia Pacific strategy, leading the company’s operations in Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Singapore.

Prior to that, Mr. Banati served as President, Pacific, for Cadbury Schweppes, leading its Australia, New Zealand, Japan and Singapore operations. He was Chairman of Cadbury Schweppes Australia. He was also a member of the company’s Chief Executive Committee.

Amit is a member of the governing council of Food Industry Asia (FIA) and served as President of FIA from 2014 to 2016. He is also a member of YPO Singapore. He serves on the boards of the Kellogg-Wilmar Joint Venture in China and the Kellogg-Tolaram Joint Ventures in Nigeria.

He received a Bachelor’s degree in commerce from Calcutta University and a Master’s of Business Administration degree from the Indian Institute of Management in Lucknow.

Alistair Hirst
Senior Vice President, Global Supply Chain, Kellogg Company

Alistair Hirst has been Senior Vice President, Global Supply Chain, Kellogg Company, since 2012. He is a member of Kellogg Company’s executive committee.

Mr. Hirst joined Kellogg Company in 1984 as a Food Technologist at the Springs, South Africa, plant. While at the facility, he was promoted to Quality Assurance Manager and Production Manager.

In 1993, he accepted an assignment at the company’s Botany, Australia, plant as Production Manager. In 1994, he returned to South Africa when he was promoted to Plant Manager, and in 1997, he was named Director, Supply Chain at the facility. Mr. Hirst relocated to the Manchester, England, facility in 2001 when promoted to Director, Procurement, and in 2004, he was named European Logistics Director. In January 2005, he relocated to the U.S. when promoted to Vice President, Global Procurement. Mr. Hirst was promoted to Senior Vice President, Snacks Supply Chain, in January 2008 and to Senior Vice President, North America Supply Chain, in October 2011.

Mr. Hirst received a Bachelor’s degree from Leeds University, England.

Chris Hood
President, Kellogg North America

Chris Hood has been President, Kellogg North America, since July 2018. He is a member of Kellogg Company’s executive committee.

Mr. Hood most recently served as President, Kellogg Europe. He joined Kellogg Company in 2012 as the Vice President of European Snacks.

Prior to Kellogg, he served Procter & Gamble in 1993, and had a distinguished 19-year career in Marketing and General Management, based in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Mr. Hood serves on the GMA Board of Directors and FMI Foundation Board of Trustees.

Mr. Hood has held a number of board roles across the food and beverage industry. As President of Kellogg Europe he served on the board of Food Drink Europe and the European Brands Association as well as Kellogg-Ulker joint venture in Turkey, and the Bisco Misr Company in Egypt, a Kellogg subsidiary.

He is also former board member of the U.S. Snack Food Association and the European Snacks Association.

Mr. Hood received a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Columbia University and a Master’s of Business Administration degree from Columbia Business School.

Melissa Howell
Senior Vice President, Global Human Resources, Kellogg Company

Melissa Howell has been Senior Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer, Kellogg Company, since June 2016. She is a member of Kellogg Company’s executive committee.

Prior to joining Kellogg, Ms. Howell was Chief Human Resources Officer for Rockford, Michigan-based Wolverine since 2014. Prior to Wolverine, Ms. Howell spent 24 years with General Motors where she led a team of 2,800 Human Resources professionals worldwide, supporting a global business at one of the top automotive companies in the world, and also among the largest public corporations.

Ms. Howell joined General Motors as a Labor Relations Representative at its Ypsilanti, Michigan, assembly plant in 1990. Over the following years, Ms. Howell served in a series of key human resources leadership roles in Europe, Asia and U.S. leading teams on six continents across an array of functional areas. She was promoted to Executive Director of North American Human Resources in 2011 and subsequently promoted to Senior Vice President of Global Human Resources.

Ms. Howell received a Master of Arts degree in Industrial Relations from Wayne State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Employee Relations from Michigan State University.

Ms. Howell serves on the Board of Directors of Autism Alliance of Michigan and is a member of the School of Human Resources and Labor Relations Advisory Board at Michigan State University.

Fareed Khan
Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, Kellogg Company

Fareed Khan has been Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Principal Financial Officer, Kellogg Company since February 2017. He is a member of Kellogg Company’s executive committee.

Before joining Kellogg, Mr. Khan was CFO at US Foods Holding Corp. where he oversaw a number of growth and transformational strategies, including leading the company’s initial public offering in 2016.

Prior to US Foods, Mr. Khan served as Senior Vice President and CFO at United Stationers and spent 12 years at USG in a variety of finance, business and leadership roles, including Executive Vice President of Finance and Strategy, President and CEO of USG Building Systems and Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

Mr. Khan’s experience also includes service at McKinsey & Company as a management consultant in the U.S. and Europe.

Mr. Khan holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Carleton University, Ottawa, Ontario, and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Chicago.

David Lawlor
President, Kellogg Europe, Kellogg Company

David Lawlor has been President, Kellogg Europe since July 2018. He is a member of Kellogg Company’s executive committee, and he most recently served as Vice President, European Cereal.

Mr. Lawlor began his career at Kellogg in 1991, joining as a Sales Manager in its Dublin office. Following this, he held a number of senior roles, including running the company’s Middle Eastern business, setting up its Dubai office and helping to launch its joint venture in Turkey with domestic food company Ulker.

Mr. Lawlor then served as General Manager of Kellogg Russia for almost eight years and led the integration of United Bakers Group, a local biscuit and cracker manufacturer.

In August 2016, he was appointed Managing Director, UK/ROI where he refocused the company’s efforts to stabilize and grow its core cereal business.

Under Mr. Lawlor’s leadership, Kellogg has continued to play a critical role in tackling hunger by funding school breakfast clubs and food banks across Britain and Ireland.

He holds a degree in politics and history from University College Dublin.

Monica McGurk
Chief Growth Officer, Kellogg Company

Monica McGurk has been Kellogg Chief Growth Officer since January 2019. She is a member of Kellogg Company’s executive committee. Previously, she served as Chief Revenue and eCommerce Officer.

Prior to Kellogg, Ms. McGurk served as Chief Growth Officer at Tyson Foods, overseeing Strategy, Insights & Innovation, R&D, Marketing Services, eCommerce and Tyson New Ventures to define Tyson’s agenda for sustainable growth at scale. She served in a number of roles at Tyson including President, FoodService, and Senior Vice President, Strategy and New Ventures.

Prior to Tyson, Ms. McGurk was Senior Vice President, Strategy, Decision Support and eCommerce for Coca-Cola North America. She also was the founding CEO of the “big data”-driven startup, The Alumni Factor, empowering students and parents with the first customizable college ranking system based on actual life outcomes of college alumni.

Ms. McGurk is on the Board of Directors of the Mid-America Apartment Communities (MAA) and recently served on the Governor’s Blue Ribbon Commission on Advanced Analytics & Computing for the State of Arkansas.

Ms. McGurk holds Master of Business Administration and Education degrees from Stanford University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government from Harvard University.

Maria Fernanda Mejia
Senior Vice President, Kellogg Company, President, Kellogg Latin America

Maria Fernanda Mejia is Senior Vice President and President, Kellogg Latin America, a position she has held since November 2011. She is a member of Kellogg Company’s executive committee.

Ms. Mejia previously held a variety of global marketing and management roles at the Colgate-Palmolive Company, including Corporate Vice President and General Manager, Global Personal Care and Corporate Fragrance Development, Corporate Vice President of Marketing and Innovation for Europe/South Pacific, and President and CEO of Colgate-Palmolive Spain. She joined Colgate in 1989.

Ms. Mejia has been a member of the Young Presidents Organization, the International Women’s Forum, Cosmetic Executive Women’s Organization, Venezuela American Chamber of Commerce, the Spain chapters of the American-Spanish Chamber of Commerce, American Business Council and Circulo de Empresarios, The Business Leadership Forum of the Instituto de Empresa, and Junior Achievement.

Ms. Mejia is currently a non-Executive Director on the Board of International Consolidated Airlines Group (British Airways, Iberia, Vueling and Air Lingus).

Ms. Mejia received her Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Distribution from Texas A&M University.

Gary H. Pilnick
Vice Chairman, Corporate Development and Chief Legal Officer, Kellogg Company

Gary Pilnick has been Vice Chairman, Corporate Development and Chief Legal Officer, Kellogg Company since 2016. He is a member of Kellogg Company’s executive committee.

Mr. Pilnick assumed the role of Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary in 2003 and assumed the responsibility of Corporate Development in 2004. He joined Kellogg Company in 2000 as Vice President, Deputy General Counsel and Assistant Secretary.

Prior to joining Kellogg, Mr. Pilnick was affiliated with the Chicago law firm of Jenner and Block from 1989 to 1995, which included corporate legal assignments in Chicago and Tokyo, Japan. He served as Vice President and Chief Corporate Counsel for Specialty Foods Corporation from 1995 to 1997, when he joined Sara Lee Corporation as Chief Counsel, Corporate Development and Finance. He was named Vice President and Chief Counsel, Sara Lee Branded Apparel, North and South America in February 1999.

Mr. Pilnick received a Bachelor’s degree with Honors from Lafayette College, Easton, Pennsylvania, and a Juris Doctorate with Honors from Duke University School of Law, Durham, North Carolina.
