Dr. John L. Zabriskie has served as a member of Kellogg Company's Board of Directors since 1995.
As a member of Kellogg Company's Board of Directors, Dr. Zabriskie chairs the Audit Committee. He also serves on the Executive Committee, the Compensation Committee and the Nominating and Governance Committee.
Dr. Zabriskie is president of Lansing Brown Investments, LLC, a privately held firm which makes seed investments in start-up life sciences companies. From 1997 to 1999, he served as chairman and chief executive officer of NEN Life Science Products, Inc., a manufacturer of specialty biochemicals.
Previously, Dr. Zabriskie served from 1995 to 1997 as president and chief executive officer of Pharmacia & Upjohn, Inc., a leading prescription drug manufacturer. He previously served as chairman of the board and chief executive officer of The Upjohn Company from 1994 to 1995.
Before joining Upjohn, Dr. Zabriskie had served since 1993 as executive vice president of Merck & Co., Inc., a leading international pharmaceutical company, and as president of
its Manufacturing Division. He had served as senior vice president of Merck since 1991 and previously was president of Merck Sharp & Dohme, Merck's U.S. pharmaceutical business.
Dr. Zabriskie is a director of Array Biopharma, Arca Discovery, and PureTech Ventures LLC.
Dr. Zabriskie and his wife, Adelaide, reside in Snowmass, Colorado. They have four children.
